Taking
time out to refresh our understanding of events and to re-charge the
batteries of the spirit has always been a vital part of improving the
quality of life. In today's fast moving and fast changing world, it is
even more essential to reach the point of stillness and calm that lies
at the centre of every person. Like a garden that needs care and
regular attention to maintain its natural beauty, the mind also thrives
when we learn how to attend to our thoughts. Clarity and balance in our
thinking result in a wealth of contentment and well-being.
In
this very ancient and historical land of Cambodia you can learn about
this age old art and be able to connect with this magnificent heritage
at a deeper level. Meditation was an integral part of the spiritual
practices at the temples of Cambodia throughout the centuries and the
energy is still palpable until today. By emerging the treasures within
your own spirit, the subtler aspects of this great heritage are
enhanced.
This Meditation
practice will provide an opportunity to step off the conveyor belt of
life and spend time in a peaceful atmosphere, to reflect upon and
explore the important factors governing our everyday experience. These
include self identity, the basis of real inner power; and the art of
creating and maintaining harmony in our relationships.
Using
music, guided meditation and silence you will be taught simple
techniques of contemplation which restore inner peace and helps to
create more positive responses in your daily life. Experienced teachers
will also help you to explore your own spirituality and the practical
application of spirituality in daily life.
