Raja Yoga Education and Research Foundation
A branch of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University, established in 1937 with the aim of reviving the ancient teachings of Raja Yoga and exploring spirituality. Presently based in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, its campus can accommodate 20,000 people with two main objectives:

Training for its teachers and regular students

Retreats and conferences for professionals to explore the connection between spirituality and the arts, medicine, education, science, the media, etc.
The teachings themselves focus on:

Meditation which helps an individual understand their own self and the inner workings of the mind, intellect and the subconscious mind, sanskaras.

Yoga, a connection with the supreme, understood to be non-physical energy, light, cosmic consciousness.
The Brahma Kumaris is free of any religious affiliation and open to people of all backgrounds. There are centres in over 120 countries and 8,500 centres worldwide. The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University is a non–governmental organization with general consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and is in consultative status with UNICEF. It is also affiliated to the UN Department of Public Information. Focusing on the area of human and social values, the Brahma Kumaris bring a particularly ethical and spiritual approach to world concerns.

Phnom Penh
Valerie Magnieux first started teaching in Cambodia in 2000. She had been practicing Raja Yoga Meditation for 28 years in France and at our retreat centre in Oxford, UK. She has conducted trainings in Meditation and Positive Thinking for many companies and non governmental organizations in Phnom Penh. Valerie introduced the Living Values Education Program to Cambodia, working in Banteay Meancheay and Kompot provinces. Her gentle sensitive nature creates a safe haven for all who visit.
Siem Reap
Tom and Maureen Chen have been practicing Raja Yoga Meditation for 30 years. Beginning in Sydney, Australia. They later went on to help develop centres in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Vietnam and Cambodia after taking training in India. They have conducted programs for hotels, governmental and non-governmental agencies, hospitals and universities. They co-ordinating a retreat centre in Australia for three years in between their 25 years spent in Asia. Tom and Maureen have researched various forms of meditation techniques and have a light and yet profound way of facilitating each person’s individual progress.
